We hopped off the bus for lunch at Sydney Fish Market

Sydney Fish Market is about as authentic as you can get.  Highly odoriferous, crammed with housewives buying dinner, Asian stall owners, all manner of seafood raw or cooked.

A beautiful display of live crabs.  Expensive though--$39.99 Australian a kilo, about $20 a pound in US dollars.

Inside the Fish Market.  This picture is for son David, Dallas' best authority on crawfish, aka "bugs."  He will be happy to see they are called that in other parts of the world as well.

There were so many choices!  But we finally settled on this plate of fried crabs three ways at Doyle's, a Sydney institution.
